Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 30, 2026
Mazenta Labs LLC (“Mazenta,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website mazentalabs.com and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our services.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
When you join our waitlist, subscribe to our newsletter, or contact us, we collect the email address you provide. If you sign up as a certification body partner, we may also collect your name, organization name, and role.
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our website, we may automatically collect certain information about your device, including your browser type, operating system, IP address, referring URLs, and pages visited. We use this information to analyze trends, administer the site, and improve our services.
Information Collected Through Our Scanner
Mazenta Scan crawls publicly accessible website content to extract sustainability claims and structured data. This scanning is limited to content that is publicly available on the open web — we do not access password-protected pages, internal systems, or private data. The information we collect through scanning includes publicly visible text content, HTML source code, JSON-LD structured data, meta tags, and image alt text from brand websites.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Process your waitlist registration and send relevant updates
- Deliver our newsletter if you subscribe
- Generate compliance scan reports for brands and certification body partners
- Improve our scanning algorithms and machine readability scoring
- Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
- Analyze website usage to improve our services
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored using Supabase, a hosted PostgreSQL database service with enterprise-grade security. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Scan report data (extracted claims, regulatory mappings, and readability scores) is stored as structured JSON and associated with the target brand URL. Scan reports are accessible only to the account that initiated the scan and to Mazenta team members for service improvement purposes.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: We use third-party services including Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), and Anthropic (AI analysis). These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations.
- Certification body partners: If you are a certified brand, aggregate and anonymized data about public claim accuracy may be shared with the relevant certification body partner. We will never share your email or contact information with partners without your consent.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal process.

You have the right to:
